Environmental Policy
- Provide a comfortable, enjoyable and safe environment for our guests, staff and visitors consistent with a commitment to sustainability, biodiversity and energy reduction.
- Inform guests of our environmental policy
- Promote businesses that are members of GTBS (and others who have a robust environmental policy) to our guests
- Work with our suppliers and staff to find innovative solutions to satisfy our environmental objectives
- Purchase products and services that have a reduced environmental impact
- Maintain a procurement policy in favour of suppliers demonstrating environmental and social responsibility
- Take an active role within our local community and seek to contribute economically and socially
- Respect and abide by all local and national legislation particularly with regard to employment, environment and health and safety
- Keep informed of current affairs (with particular regard to the environment) and be aware of changes in legislation and good practice to ensure that our operations continue to be environmentally sustainable, ethical and socially responsible
