The Dining Room
The dining room is a south facing room and with its numerous windows and French doors is a lovely well lit room. On warm sunny mornings you may wish to have the French doors open or indeed enjoy your breakfast outside on our expansive decking on comfortable hardwood outdoor furniture.
There is a lovely Victorian style fire place with a flame effect open gas fire. The stained glass oak door leading into the dining room is one of a pair that were originally the confessional doors of the chapel attached to Whitehill House. The round top oak door to the kitchen was originally the door to the priest’s rooms.
The hand scraped solid oak flooring is of timeless beauty and with comfortable underfloor heating provides a perfect ambience to enjoy your breakfast.
A beautiful Edwardian oak dresser has pride of place in the room and is complemented by three comfortably sized tables with Victorian dining chairs.
Each table is well lit and has white linen table cloths and fresh flowers.
